The couple, who have reportedly been dating since 2014, were first seen together at a Cannes Film Festival after party following Antonio's split from Melanie Griffith after a 20-year marriage. Speaking about his divorce, Antonio said: "It's been an intense year... Life goes on. I admire and respect for Melanie first and foremost as a great actress… And she's also the person that I loved, that I love and will always love."

The actor appears to have fully recovered following his health scare back in January. The 56-year-old had been exercising when he suffered chest pains, and was taken to St Peter's hospital near his Surrey home. Speaking to , Antonio confirmed that he had an "episode" and was visited by his daughter Stella following the scare. Sharing a photo with her, he wrote: "My daughter came all the way from L.A. to see me. Total happiness walking around #Guildford!" Speaking about living in Surrey, he told HELLO!: "I find [it] magical. I am not a party person anymore so I have the space and peace to write and really get inside my own head. I'm working on several scripts. I go cycling in the woods and everyone in Cobham, Weybridge and Esher is incredibly friendly. Above all, I am surrounded by nature. I love watching the deer and foxes that come to my garden."
