Netflix has cast several new actors including the two lead female roles in their upcoming fantasy series “The Witcher”. Freya Allan is set to take on the role of Ciri and Anya Chalotra will play the character Yennefer. They both join the previously cast Henry Cavill, who is playing Geralt. Yennefer is a powerful sorceress and the primary love interest of Geralt while Ciri is the princess of Cintra, whose role is central to the series’ plot. The NetFlix series is based on the fantasy novel series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The books also inspired the incredible video game franchise by Warsaw-based game studio CD Projekt Red.
