Let it goatee! John Travolta made his first official appearance after his epic "Adele Dazeem" flub at the Oscars last month, on Thursday, April 3, rocking a rather interesting patch of facial hair on his chin.
The 60-year-old actor was joined by wife Kelly Preston at the inaugural Silver Springs International Film Festival in Ocala, Fla., where the two presented a toast to the aduience. With the Idina Menzel incident behind him, Travolta looked carefree and happy at the event, sporting a groomed goatee.
The Grease actor's trimmed, tiny patch of facial hair looked as if it had been dipped in a can of black paint. Preston looked stunning and casual beside her husband with fresh makeup and her blonde locks left down in loose waves.
Following his embarrassing Oscars flub last month, Travolta told Us Weekly that he had been beating himself up over the gaffe. "Then I thought…What would Idina Menzel say? She'd say, 'Let it go, let it go!'" he joked, referring to Menzel's Oscar-winning title "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen.

Menzel appeared on the Today show Thursday and told Savannah Guthrie that she and Travolta had put the mispronunciation behind them. "I don't want to keep saying it because I don't want him to feel worse or anything, because he sent lots of apologies and everything that were really nice," the Broadway star said.
